NOTE: Amy & I are standing on a step behind the boys. They are actually much taller. In fact, Victor is now taller than Amy and me. He is right at 6ft at 14 years of age.
Musician Friends
Don’t get me wrong, I ONLY want to be the person that Christ is making me to be. However as Christians we are all influenced by awesome men and women of God!
Here are two of my biggest influences! What I strive for my ministry to be:
- The songwriting, singing, playing, humor and performance of Layton Howerton.
- The wisdom and anointed teaching and preaching of the WORD of Dale Crall.
I very notably see both influences culminating in my current Pastor Dr. Mike Fogerson. I do not believe that this is a coincidence in any way.
Pastor Mike is a skilled guitar player and singer as well as being a near genius in song arrangement. He can also flat out preach the stars of the sky! I am blessed and honored to be under this man’s authority in Jesus!
Monty Jackson, a true hero of mine, an absolute musical genius, a great brother in Christ, and the man that God used to finally be able to get my original material recorded.
